Healthy and Delicious Oatmeal Cookies

Oatmeal, Banana, Cinnamon and Chocolate Chip Cookies: Vegan, Gluten-Free and Sugar-Free

Yields: 12 cookies

This recipe is perfect when you are craving sweet cookies but don’t have a lot of time to bake them and want something healthy. Oats have been proven to lower cholesterol in the digestive tract, which keeps the cholesterol from being absorbed into the bloodstream. Also, they are high in fiber, which is good for a person’s overall health as well as their digestive health. Plus, oats help relieve stress and are essential for energy production, because they are rich in B vitamins. Bananas are rich in fiber, potassium, magnesium and vitamin B. This means they aid digestion, weight loss, are good for muscle cramps, improve mood, regulate blood sugar, and much more. Plus, this recipe is naturally vegan, gluten-free and with no sugar added. And it will make the house smell AMAZING!

-1 large ripe banana

-1 cup rolled oats (certified gluten-free if you’re a celiac)

-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

-1/2 teaspoon cinnamon powder

-A pinch of salt

-1/4 cup vegan chocolate chips

-Optional add-ins: dried fruit, coconut flakes, chopped nuts, etc.

Transformation time!

-Preheat the oven at 180 C / 350 F

-Mash the banana with a fork

-Add the oats and mix well


-Add the other ingredients and mix


-Use a tablespoon to form the cookies on a baking pan with parchement paper


-Leave them in the oven for 15 minutes

-Let them cool before serving, and store them in the fridge (:
